As consecrated religious Sisters, we devout our life to the imitation of Christ who came into this world to do the will of the Father. We also use as our role model Our Blessed Mother who’s Fiat for the Divine was total love, humility and sacrifice, telling all “do what ever He tells you to do”. John 2:5.
For this reason, we take up the evangelical counsels of poverty, chastity and obedience as a Divine gift which the Church has received from Our Lord. These gifts unite us in a special way to the Church and free us to carry out the mission which the Holy Spirit has entrusted to us of giving witness to and spreading the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Our religious habit is an outward sign of consecration; of belonging to our Institute and of our witness to poverty. We wear it with joy as an expression of the way of life of the Little Worker – seriousness, humility and kindness – all according to the design of our Founder.

Consecrated Poverty

Consecrated Chastity

In imitation of Christ, who came from Heaven not to do His own will but the will of His Father who sent Him, and of His Mother Mary, who declared herself as “the handmaid of the Lord” (Luke 1:38), we live in consecrated obedience as a total gift of ourselves to God, in the service of the Church and of our Institute, according to our charism. By the vow of obedience taken in a spirit of faith and love to follow Christ obedient until death, we thus submit our will to our lawful Superiors, as representatives of God in all that pertains to observance of our Constitutions.
We revere the Holy Father – Bishop of Rome and Vicar of Christ. As the highest superior of our Pontifical Institute, we obey him by virtue of the sacred bond of the vows we take. We establish relationships of honor and cooperation with the Bishop of the diocese where we live and work.
